Over the Summer I have been gaining experience working at Lydia June Interiors, based in Chesterfield.

Working with Lydia has been extremely useful when expanding my interior design knowledge as I've learnt how to create cohesive schemes for various rooms and be adventurous with patterns all while putting the client first in a professional setting. I've also helped install curtains, source products, order fabrics and been on shopping trips with / for clients. This involved a day trip to the Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour, I had such a fun day learning more about the brands and what they had to offer. Not only has my time here bettered me as a designer it has also pushed my people skills as I've had to cater to each client individually to make sure they come away with a design they are happy with.

I am pleased to come away from Lydia June Interiors with a more detailed view on the design industry and an extra set of skills which I will be able to apply in the future.​​​
