Home Staging
Over the Summer in 2024 I have had the pleasure of helping Rebecca from Rebel Interiors with a home staging in Crookes, Sheffield. This is something fairly new to me which I am interested in therefore I wanted to learn more about how it works. I spent the day with a team of people dressing the house full of furniture and accessories to make it seemed lived in, in the hopes to help sell the property. It is said a staged home can add 10% value and usually sells within 3 weeks. This is definitely something I'd take part in again as I had so much fun temporarily decorating the house.
Freelance Work
I have also completed some freelance work for Rebecca helping create a budget scheme for a living room. This was a challenge for me as I had to work around existing features, such as wallpaper and sofas, however I am pleased with the work I produced and I think I understood the brief well. I put together a few different colour ways, paired with a shopping list allowing the client to choose the one they like best.
