Glass Gardens: Chihuly's Oasis by the tracks.
3rd Year

For my semester 1 project I was asked to create an engaging art exhibition based in Sheffield Train Station, specifically the cycle hub. The artist I chose was the world-renowned glass artist Dale Chihuly, I have always loved his work and use of colour consequently his outdoor exhibitions (Chihuly Garden and Glass) inspired me to create my own botanical oasis here in Sheffield. I created a five-page portfolio paired with a 5000 word design report which talks through the design process from initial concept through to final renders. This explains my reasoning for all decisions made and includes reflections on my work. Here is my portfolio showcasing my final design along with a few pages from my report.
